Reserve Your Seats Today and dive into the heartwarming journey of Sunderland-born artist Audrey Amiss.

The film finds Audrey going through the archives of her life's work, feeling driven to return home to put on a final exhibition. Her psychiatric nurse, Sandra, gets roped into the trip, and what unfolds is a film filled with camaraderie, unexpected encounters, and the unyielding spirit of art – a tale that resonates with every dreamer and doer.

Critics are raving: "THIS PORTRAIT OF AUDREY AMISS IS BY TURNS RIOTOUS AND TOUCHING." - Catherine Wheatley, Sight and Sound.

Emma Stone, Poor Things

gala screenings and so much more!

Beyond the opening night, a cinematic treasure trove awaits from October 19-26. Join us for a diverse array of films, engage with creators, and partake in discussions that ignite the imagination

Every night of the Festival between 8 pm and 9 pm is your chance to see a Cambridge Film Festival Gala Screening, some of the biggest films in the Fest. Catch them weeks or months before your friends! Whether it's Yorgos Lanthimos' POOR THINGS with Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, and Mark Ruffalo on Friday or Austin Butler, Jodi Comer, and Tom Hardy in THE BIKERIDERS later in the week.

These headliners are ably supported throughout the Festival by fabulous strands such as CAMERA CATALONIA, ENVIRONMENT & COMMUNITY, and THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS: A JOURNEY INTO POWELL + PRESSBURGER'S DREAMWEAVING CINEMA (A strand as magical as its name is long!)

The Festival's full program is your ticket to a world where every frame tells a story.
