This weekend: Amon Warmann speaks about Whiplash.

"A Film I Love..." with Film critic and contributing editor at Empire Magazine, Amon Warmann is live from 6pm this Friday.


His chosen film is Whiplash, the Oscar-winning debut feature from Damien Chazelle.


Amon has seen the film numerous times and it never fails to blow him away. His love of Whiplash and particularly the ending (no spoilers here!!) shines through in a fascinating and enthusiastic conversation.

Film & Television journalist, broadcaster and host Beth Webb is a Contributing Editor for EMPIRE Magazine and co runner of the Bechdel Test Fest.


Beth has chosen Jonathan Demme's seminal Talking Heads concert documentary STOP MAKING SENSE. In conversation with Cambridge Film Festival, Beth talks about why she loves both Talking Heads and Stop Making Sense so much.

Helen O'Hara - Hunt for the Wilderpeople  (Fri 19th - Sun 21st March)

Helen O'Hara is a film journalist writing for EMPIRE, amongst others. Her first book WOMEN VS. HOLLYWOOD: THE RISE AND FALL OF WOMEN IN FILM was published February 2021.


In conversation with Jenny Nelson she speaks about her love of Taika Waititi's hilarious, heartwarming and immensely entertaining Hunt for the Wilderpeople.

Holly speaks to Cambridge Film Festival about a film she loves.

In a fascinating conversation, Holly discusses the F-Rating and speaks passionately about "Triple F-Rated" film Speed Sisters.
