CFF41 Opening Night montage & Triangle of Sadness

opening night and the first full day of CFF41

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a packed opening night yesterday. It was a thrill to have our brand new programming team front and centre presenting an excellent opening film THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN.

The Gala Screenings strand begins tonight with the stunning AFTERSUN, which is garnering rave reviews on the festival circuit, and continues on Saturday with Ruben Östlund's second Palme d'Or winning film TRIANGLE OF SADNESS.

saturday night's alright...

Maria Ripoll, whose film Traces of Sandalwood was programmed by the wonderful Ramon Lamarca as part of Camera Catalonia a few years ago, shows an excellent command of comedic timing with the hilarious WE WON'T KILL EACH OTHER WITH GUNS.

Boris Robič is an ordinary man with a good job, a lovely family and simple life. Or so he thinks until someone tries to shoot him in his own home. INVENTORY is a slick Slovenian psychological drama that is an amusing slow burn with unsuspecting twists and turns and a host of curious characters.
