Friday nights are pretty good. Saturday nights are better.

Keanu Reeves & Patrick Swayze, Point Break

weekend highlights at the festival

Get ready for an action-packed weekend at CFF, which is bringing a trio of standout screenings that capture thrills, provocation, and heartfelt drama.

On Saturday, dive into Kathryn Bigelow’s cult classic POINT BREAK (1991) in all its newly restored 4K glory. Follow FBI agent Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves) as he’s pulled into the high-stakes world of California surf culture and bank heists led by the enigmatic Bodhi (Patrick Swayze). The film’s stunning visuals and kinetic energy will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Join us for a panel discussion about Point Break after the screening on Saturday. This session will have descriptive subtitles and BSL interpretation. The second screening will be on Sunday, and it will be a relaxed screening.

Later that evening, immerse yourself in Marielle Heller’s NIGHTBITCH, an audacious and surreal look at modern motherhood starring the indomitable Amy Adams. Based on Rachel Yoder’s novel, this darkly humorous and provocative film explores the wild instincts of a mother pushed to her limits.

Then, on Sunday, Sean Baker’s ANORA - winner of the Palme d'Or - graces our screens. Follow Anora’s journey as she dreams of something greater while navigating love and resilience. With captivating performances and Baker’s signature authenticity, ANORA is an unforgettable exploration of ambition and young love.

Whether you’re here for the adrenaline, the intrigue, or the romance, this weekend at CFF43 promises cinematic magic for every taste!
