Hello.

We just wanted to send you a very quick reminder that from 6pm this evening, and at anytime over the weekend, you can stream the stunning documentary TIME from director Garrett Bradley.

TIME is the "A Film I Love..." selection of Observer Film Critic Simran Hans, who talks to Cambridge Film Festival's Jenny Nelson about the film and why she loves it so much.

TIME, Directed by Garrett Bradley

TIME earned Garrett Bradley the Best Director award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2020 and has been winning awards at festivals across the world.

Joe Morgenstern of the Wall Street Journal describes it as "An intricately crafted tapestry of the family’s upheavals, heroic struggles and hard-won triumphs".

Centering on Fox Richardson an extraordinary woman who spent over 20 years campaigning for the release of her husband (who was sentenced to life without parole for a botched armed robbery) while also single-handedly raising six sons.

TIME beautifully combines home video archive and contemporary footage of Fox and her sons with stunning black and white photography and an evocative blues score to present a revealing portrait of a remarkably resilient woman. Documenting Richardsons transformation from collateral damage of the US penal system into an inspirational campaigner.
