Centering on Fox Richardson an extraordinary woman who spent over 20 years campaigning for the release of her husband (who was sentenced to life without parole for a botched armed robbery) while also single-handedly raising six sons.

TIME beautifully combines home video archive and contemporary footage of Fox and her sons with stunning black and white photography and an evocative blues score to present a revealing portrait of a remarkably resilient woman. Documenting Richardsons transformation from collateral damage of the US penal system into an inspirational campaigner.

TIME earned Garrett Bradley the Best Director award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2020 and has garnered praise from audiences and critics alike.

Joe Morgenstern of the Wall Street Journal described it as "An intricately crafted tapestry of the family’s upheavals, heroic struggles and hard-won triumphs".
