In recent times, there are a couple of emerging trends in project
management which have emerged due to the current global situation. There
seems to be a greater reliance on digital and remote teams. No longer
is project management bound by the confines of a typical office. In
fact, job boards have remote PM postings in abundance. Due to several
factors—including greater connectivity, changing corporate values, and
the rise of the gig economy—digital and remote teams are more common
today than ever before.
