You must give to get suggests that before you can receive

something, you first need to do something for others. This

could mean sharing your resources, offering help, or performing

a kind act.  Essentially, it promotes the idea that in order to

receive, one must first be generous or helpful. It's also seen in

the context of hard work: you have to give effort and time before

you get results.

 

In another context, it could also mean investing first (time, energy, money) before getting returns.



In a broader sense, it can also represent the principle of Karma: the energy you give out comes back to you.



When you give to others you'll find your blessings growing.  In other words, the more seeds you sow, the more you reap.
