The CityFibre contracts have 2 week payment terms for the first 6 months and they go to 4 weeks after 6 months. With the ramp into 3 cities and the Covid delays the cashflow modelling (and delay in reaching steady state profitability) they felt the prudent thing to do was get extra cash so as to not have to slow anything down. They are very optimistic that they will win further business very soon which could generate further cash flow concerns until they have enough track record to close a larger bank line which they believe they may have in December. I view it as typical growing pains when a company is growing this fast. 3 employees in the UK 12 months ago to over 220 now and likely that number grows more with more contract wins.
