We regret to inform you that as of Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 Sawa's Old Warsaw is temporarily closed due to maintenance and other issues that require inspections from Village of Broadview to be completed before being allowed to open for business once again. We did try our best to get everything in order by this weekend, however some repairs are taking longer than anticipated and must be 100% complete before the inspection can take place.
Unfortunately, this means that our first-ever Breakfast Buffet, scheduled for Valentine's Day, will have to be postponed for another date in the near future. In addition, any private parties and meetings for the Brookfield Jazz Society are also cancelled until everything is back up to speed.
We honestly regret the fact that this happened on such short notice and that we hope you will look forward to joining us for lunch or dinner once again once the inspections are complete.

Speak Out Online Feedback
|
|
|
As many of you have read in prior editions of the Polonia Gazeta that we get a lot of great feedback from those who visit us on the website and fill out the Speak Out Online form. However, we do get many more than fill out the form inside the restaurant and we feel its necessary to share that information with you.
One complaint that has come up recently is that children have often come up to the buffet unattended and grab or touch food without any use of utensils or adult assistance. We agree this is poor manners as well as not good practice for eating at a buffet and therefore we will enforce the following:
⇒ No children are allowed around the buffet without adult supervision.
⇒ First offense during a visit will result in having the child returned to the table and a warning provided to the parents.
⇒ A second offense during the same visit will result in more strict measures to include paying for any food that has to be thrown out as a result of inappropriate handling regardless if the food is consumed.
We also want to remind our customers that as we are in the middle of Cold and Flu season to be conscious of those around you when visiting our establishment. This includes using a new plate every time you visit the buffet and to ensure you wash your hand thoroughly before going up to the buffet and whenever you use the washroom. If you have been sick recently, then please feel free to ask for assistance from our staff who will be more than happy to bring food to your table.
