» Chopin Monument In Chicago

Thanks For Your SupportOn Saturday, September 13th a group of Green Thumb enthusiasts came out to a part of Grant Park in downtown Chicago to help plant flowers and bushes to pave the way for the upcoming Chopin Monument.

From the official website of the project... Chopin never came to American, but he is coming to Chicago! In honor of Chopin's contribution to music "We The People of Chicago" want to bring Chopin to Our City and to erect a copy of the famous Art Nouveau Chopin Monument in Warsaw's Royal Baths Park here downtown in Chicago.

Sawa's Old Warsaw was on site to provide mini sandwiches, coffee, tea, fresh fruit and Kolaczki for the workers. Check out our Image Gallery by clicking the link below of the pictures from the beautiful day in Chicago.

(They also received a discount
off of their next meal)

Rick Trojanowski from Lutz, FL:
[Price Comparison] Excellent
[Service Offered] I have been around for many years at age 67. Have eaten in many restaurants. Have had many servers, but Colleen is the best. Always around to pick up used plates & asking if we needed anything. The best!
[Other Comments] Tampa, Florida, where I reside, needs a Sawa’s restaurant. No good Polish restaurants down here. Also bring Colleen.

Sherry Webb from Westchester:
[Price Comparison] Perfect! Just like the food and service
[Favorite Entree] Pierogi
[Least Favorite] Lamb
[Other Comments] Love the food!

Marc from Brookfield:
[Price Comparison] Carry Out Menu is the way to go when you need a quick bite with not a lot of time for lunch
[Favorite Entree] Polish Sausage and Swiss Steak
[Least Favorite] Shrimp
[Other Comments] Beata (with the darker hair) is a great server that caters the Brookfield Jazz Society every Thursday in The Jazz Room. She is every attentive to everyone's needs and does an excellent job of make sure everything is setup before the crowd arrives. A great plus to any Jazz night!
