Join the Brookfield Jazz Society in The Jazz Room (lower level) of Sawa's Old Warsaw for some excellent live jazz featuring the songs from the Kimberly Gordon Organ Trio. This will be the first time Kimberly Gordon has performed for the BJS and this will also be the first live jazz event since the BJS hit their 10 Year Anniversary back in March. Guests will be asked for $10 at the door for the Band Collection and BJS Members pay $7 at the door. Along with the live jazz there will be a Main Raffle with some wonderful prizes and a Member's Only Raffle in honor of Jazz Appreciation Month. June 3rd, 2015 BJS Jazz in Review: Part 1
On Thursday, April 23rd the Brookfield Jazz Society featured an epic presentation known as "Jazz in Review: Part 1" that highlighted the live jazz events from the first 10 years of supporting Jazz. The video presentation, put together by Marc, went back to the days of meeting Village Hall followed by some of the music from the first 50 live jazz events held. A special guest appearance was even made by Marshall Vente to talk about being one of the first to play for the BJS.
