Blue Tuesday is Back

Yes, folks, the season is here for all things Blueberry every Tuesday at Sawa's Old Warsaw. That means when you visit the Buffet you get to try out some Blueberry Pierogies, Blueberry Crepes, Blueberry Cupcakes, and even a Blueberry Topping for your Soft Serve Ice Cream.

At the Finish Line

Yet another successful Classic Car Show took place on Sunday, July 2nd. The event included Polish Tacos, Classic Cars, several Gas Card Winners, and even a couple Gift Certificate Winners to make it a fun-filled day.

A big "Congratulations" goes out to Mitch Damian from Tinley Park who took 1st Place with his '76 Corvette and Albert Garcia from Aurora that came in 2nd Place with his 2011 Chevy Impala. It was a fun time had by all. Click on the button below to see the winners with their trophies.

For those who sent inquires online... Yes, the event was going to be held rain or shine. Yes, you needed to be present at the time to claim a prize if you name was drawn for the Gift Cards. Yes, Marc was there to celebrate his birthday that falls on the 4th of July. Yes, we are going to do this again next year.

News You Can Really Use

§ Hard to believe that its that time of year again to say "Happy Birthday, Stuart" on August 26th!

§ Sawa's Old Warsaw will be celebrating 50 YEARS of the Polish~American Smorgasbord in October. Please, stay tuned for updates on this historic milestone in upcoming editions.

§ The annual Taste of Polonia held at the Copernicus Center in Chicago will take place September 1st through 4th. Check out all the details on www.TOPChicago.org if you want to go.

§ A shout out goes to Marc for taking home the Gold Medal in Archery for the Novice (10m Recurve) category during his recent attendance of the annual Valor Games Midwest.

§ A word of "thanks" to all who attended the Poland Travel Show at the end of June. Please note that the proper dates for the Pride of Poland Tour are May 7th ~ May 15th, 2024.
