Towards the end of 2024 we asked for feedback from you, our loyal customers, about the newsletter or buffet in general. Sure enough we got some excellent feedback as well as a few questions that can be answered. Without further ado, and in no particular order, let us dive in to our mailbag...
Sign Up Form: Iâve eaten there back in the 1970âs, looking to have a family reunion this summer.

Response: We look forward to seeing you and your family here this Summer. Our dinning room and banquet rooms can accommodate anywhere from 20 to 200 people. Make your reservations now to ensure the best setup for all to enjoy the party.
Speak Out Form: When will Barbara (the Hostess) return to work?
Response: We wanted to let you know that our Beloved Barbara has retired from working at Sawa's Old Warsaw. She has had many great years greeting guests and servicing customers and we will truly miss her around here. We wish her the best and happy retirement!
Feedback Link: Will you ever bring back Oxtail [Stew] Day? Really miss eating your oxtail.
Response: Due to the rising costs of food, unfortunately, we are not able to bring this item back to our buffet any time soon.
Website Feedback Form: Our family usually meets there every few months and we really enjoy Sawa's Old Warsaw!! Per your request, a few suggestions that keep coming up in our conversations about Sawas. When we've gone, there are usually no Meat Pierogi being served. A few of our family members would like to see Pork Cutlets on the menu during the week as well. Thank you and continue the good job!

Response: Next time you and your family stop in to eat and you don't see something on buffet that you are in the mood for.. then just ask your server to make it for you. Your food will be made to order and brought straight to your table. Most items on our Carry Out Menu can be made at any day of the week for either dine in or carry out.

Website Feedback Form: You sent me a post card for my birthday, Dec. 1. It arrived Dec. 14. Not very useful with 7 day expiration. I love Sawa and intend to come there every time we are in Chicago.
