Many of us (totally guilty when I first started) jumped into private practice and did steps 5 - 10 first and realized later, my business is running me, I am NOT running my business.

- Create a business plan, vision, and know your numbers BEFORE approaching insurance panels.
- Sign on to panels only if they are a good fit for you and your business.
- There are many other ways to give back to your community or work aside from being paneled.
