Subject: [PODCAST] 3 Quick Tips to Write Better Notes

Friend,

It was pleasure to connect with Dr. Maelisa Hall on this podcast

Super fun fact about Maelisa...her and her husband recently became minimalists and moved onto a SAILBOAT!!!

How COOL is that?!?!

You have to check out the podcast to listen in about that transition.

But...more importantly we talked about how as therapists we HAVE to write notes and how most of us have a LOVE/HATE relationship with them, rather a hate/hate relationship for most.

We all know notes are important, but that doesn't mean we want to do them!  I could think of a million other things to do, that do notes.

We know we need to document our sessions, timeline, and progress with our clients and many of us LOATHE paperwork, perhaps that's because we haven't found a system or way that works for us.

Join us on this podcast as we talk with Dr. Maelisa Hall who reframes the note writing process and talks about how note writing is a relationship you have in order to create best treatment outcomes for your clients.

She shares with us these quick tips on how to write notes better and quicker.
  1. Forget about attorneys and court cases
  2. Personalize your check boxes
  3. Involve your clients in the process
Not only will these tips help you decrease your time at the office so you can Netflix and chill more (or whatever you want to do), but also help you create better outcomes with and for your clients.

Make sure you listen to the end of the podcast as we talk about the Pomodoro Technique and how this technique can help you with ANYTHING you are trying to accomplish.
