To niche or not niche that is the question.
When I first got into private practice many moons ago. I was a generalist. Being in community mental health the message I got was, "we work with anyone and everyone."
Coming into private practice and picking a niche at first felt counterintuitive, restrictive and like I was committing myself to only working with a small percent of the population and decreasing referrals, eek, gasp!
When I did decide to let go and listen to coaches and mentors and focus on a niche, my life, my happiness, my work, my expertise and my income all changed for the better.
Niching is one of my favorite topics as something beautiful happens when you commit to the niche!
