the world seems to have come to a standstill. With curfews in place in many countries, most of us are at home, alone or with our families, and feel stuck in a bad dream.
Nobody right now can tell how long this is going to last, when the corona epidemic will be over, when things can get back to normal.
This can feel daunting, and when we spend the entire day watching the news, scrolling over post after post of horrific news from Italy or the US on social media, it can push us into utter despair.
That's why I am writing to you today, after contemplating for days whether I should or should not send (bother?) you with a newsletter.
Since travelling is so out of reach right now, why should I write to you about visiting Namibia, I wondered? Why should I rave about the magnificent wildlife there, or the vast, grand scenery that one finds when cruising along the desert roads towards the Namib dunes? Would a newsletter about Namibia make sense at all?
And today I decided it would. I feel in this time a little inspiration cannot hurt, and looking forward to something beautiful 'after Corona' times will keep us going, will lift our spirits and help us through these days. And ... Namibia will need YOU to revive it's tourism ventures, that have been hit hard by Corona.
So are you with me to dream up some great adventures for when we shall travel Namibia again?
If YES, please click the button below and follow us for a week, as I reveal pictures daily with some of Namibia's truly amazing wilderness places, wonderful wildlife adventures and some exciting or slightly unnerving experiences we've had in wild Namibia.
Ready for it? ... There you go:
