Nine years ago, the Prince George's County Social Innovation Fund (PGCSIF) launched Forty UNDER 40 Prince George's as a pilot effort to identify the best and brightest in Prince George's County across a range of sectors and categories. There were countless cases of exceptional talents across a spectrum of individuals locally, and we wanted to offer a hometown recognition for excellence and leadership. Since 2012, the number of nominations has increased exponentially, and the competition has become even more intensified beyond our wildest dreams. As of 2020, amid a global pandemic, once again, we were offered phenomenal people making phenomenal impacts and waves right here in Prince George's County. Individuals and organizations from across the County and the region nominate candidates for consideration. A hardworking review panel meticulously assesses each nomination based on character, accomplishment, and commitment to service. It was not an easy job by far – but we did it again! The future of our beloved County remains so bright. |
