If you know a Prince George’s County resident who is making an impact in the County, you can nominate them (or yourself). Nominees must demonstrate achievement, commitment, and persistence in their respective professions and/or local community. Honorees will be selected in the following areas of achievement: Art and Humanities, Business, Education, Health and Fitness, Public Service, Science and Engineering. Deadline is Tuesday, December 31st at 11:59 PM EST!

| | Mark Lawrence has been a resident of Prince George's County for almost 20 years and has been the Board chair for the Prince George's County Social Innovation Fund from almost the very beginning. Beyond his love for sneakers, anyone who knows Mark knows how deeply he cares for and wants for Prince George's County. Through his work as the founder of Inncuvate and as a citizen, one can look around the County at his impact. From the new Innovation Hub at Prince George's Community College to his leadership on the Bowie BIC, Mark has staked his claim on ensuring that our County not only participates in the 21st Century digital economy but leads it. We have been so honored to have his service at PGCSIF and I could not have had a better model and mentor as I seek to fill his shoes.
