Have you ever had to develop someone for an employee relations position or a spot on your rapid response team? What if they didn't know anything about labor relations or union avoidance? What if you didn't have a big budget for live training?

Until this week, the only resource I could recommend was my Dad's book Total Victory! and my book Left of Boom. But there's a new one you should check out, and this one isn't ours. It is the UnionProof Certification Course from Walter Orechwa and his team over at Projections. It is a comprehensive course (attendees get 24 hours of SHRM or HRCI credit) for anyone who needs to get a solid foundation in labor and positive employee relations. I know what you're thinking. Why am I recommending a program from a competitor? The number one reason is that it is really solid. I got a chance to review it thoroughly at the CUE conference and I really think it is a great addition to the marketplace. If you have people that know nothing about labor relations this is a great option to consider.

Second, I've known Walter and his team a long time and we both agree that the times we live in are too important to think small. We ALL need to do everything in our power to make sure EVERY company is prepared for the upcoming labor relations storm that's coming. And Walter's not thinking small either - the course includes reference material to a lot of great resources, including some of ours.
