Sunday 05 January 2020
Happy New Year! Mind you not so happy for many Australians at the moment, it is all very sad. I have just received a Facebook request for everyone on 10 January to put red/orange ribbons on their gates, fences, letterboxes or balconies as a sign of thanks to all the firies. No one can deny that the firies are having a really rough time.
The Sydney Festival starts this week, so check out their events. They are all listed on our website and a few are highlighted in this newsletter.
If there is nothing here that you fancy then of course visit the website for a full breakdown of What's on!
Have a lovely week and do forward our newsletters to friends and family for them to enjoy.

Win a double pass to THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE... Shakespeare may be turning in his grave, but this show (which has become a cult classic) contains all 37 of his plays - and sonnets - in just 97 minutes! Described by the Los Angeles Herald as “Shakespeare written by Reader's Digest, acted by Monty Python and performed at the speed of the minute waltz”, this hilarious binge of Bard - coming to Sydney courtesy of Lane Cove Theatre Company - is part parody, part tribute, part party trick!
