Subject: Reconnecting with What's on Sydney to promote your events

It has been over two years since I last blasted out to all our Event Organisers, PR Companies, Marketing Managers etc. My last message was in March 2020 at the start of Covid and the first lock down. I feel that we are now in a strange place, trying to get back to normal but, it is not normal. Some of you, will have sadly had to close and some of you will be hanging in there, but a few will, I am sure, be back on the up. The new wave of Covid won't be helping, but there is one thing I am sure of, people involved in Arts are extremely passionate and resilient. As my mother said to me on many occasions, "Where there is a will there is a way!"

TIME TO RECONNECT

As we all try to move forward, I thought it was important to reconnect and remind you all that we are still here! If you haven't listed with us for a while and can't remember your account details please reply to this newsletter and we will help you out. If there has been staff changes in your organisation, again, do get in touch and we will update your account details.

It is still free to list your events with us, and there is no limit as to how many you can list. You can choose to upgrade your account to receive more promotion and we still offer advertising packages.

We email our subscribers every Sunday evening with a list of events for the coming week and a few coming up later in the year. At present we have 5620 subscribers to our eNewsletter.

This year we are supporting Short and Sweet for more information on this year's festival -

Ticket Wombat is now solely owned by What's on Sydney. If you have not used this website to promote your event etc, it is very simple.

There are several key differences however, Ticket Wombat operates nationwide and has members in most states and territories in Australia. So, it is able to giveaway tickets to where ever your event is being held.

There are no advertising or membership fees to promote your events. All you need do is provide the minimum double pass to giveaway and we will put it online and promote it.

This is a great way to build your audience without dipping into your marketing dollars.

TURNING 20!

On 2 January 2023 What's on Sydney will have been online 20 years!

It would be great to celebrate this somehow, if anybody has any ideas/ collaborations let me know.
