Bondi Festival is back! Get ready for 17 days and nights of unmissable theatre, comedies and musical performances, alongside free events, art workshops and the first time ever – a Bondi street party! On opening weekend, treat yourself to the world premiere of Proud, Proud Woman: A Ruby Hunter Tribute (6 July) in the Bondi Pavilion Theatre, featuring a lineup of talented First Nations singers and musicians, including Emily Wurramara and Dan Sultan. On the second week of the festival, don’t miss the hilarious Sydney premiere of Burnout Paradise (11 – 13 July), dive into the fascinating gothic live-board game show Blood on the Clocktower: Live! and be amazed by the internationally award-winning HELIOS (11 – 14 July) by UK masters of storytelling Wright & Grainger and starring Jamie MacDowell. After sell-out seasons in 2023, we are thrilled to welcome back the award-winning interactive show Werewolves (11 – 14 July) where you can test your poker face in this game of accusation, deceit and fun. For ages 10+. Sharpen your pencils because Bondi Fest x Gladdy Drawing Club (11 & 14 July) returns for two special performative life-drawing classes, featuring acclaimed artists’ Andrew Yee and Wendy Sharpe. On the final weekend of the festival we have the inaugural Gould St Street Party (20 July), featuring an array of eats and beats, local brewers, shopping pop-ups, and eclectic entertainments. And it wouldn’t be a festival without the iconic Bondi Festival Ice Rink and the legendary Bondi Vista Ferris Wheel returning to Bondi Beach!
