I hope you have all been enjoying the beautiful weather. This is the last week and then the School Holidays begin.
It was sad news this week as the Basement in Sydney closed it's doors. Not sure what quite happened there, but hopefully it will remain a music venue under new management. The NSW state Parliament has an inquiry into the state of the music and arts economy. The inquiry has apparently revealed that numerous venues across NSW have been closing their doors to live music mainly due to too much legislation. So, hopefully something will happen and we will have more live music once more.
