7:30 am - The smoking ceremony - Wugulora Morning Ceremony
Aboriginal dancers and singers perform the Wugulora Morning Ceremony from 8am at Bangaroo Reserve. Followed by the National Anthem. During the performance the Aboriginal and Australian flags will be raised on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. 9 am - 10:30 am - OZ Day GIO Wheelchair Race This year marks the 30th anniversary of this event. Get a glimpse of internationally acclaimed wheelchair athletes as
they whizz by at exhilarating speeds. Head to George Street in The
Rocks and Hickson Road and Circular Quay for the best vantage points. Get in early to enjoy a free breakfast from 8am, courtesy of GIO. The BBQ is under the Cahill Expressway on George Street. 11:30 am - 12:05 am - Salute to Australia
21-gun military salute from the Australian armed forces. Starting with the smoking ceremony, then the salute, followed by the National Anthem, then choreographed boat show on the harbour, with an array of aircraft flying overhead. (Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay area)
10:45 am - 11:30 am - The Sydney Ferrython Sydney Harbour will make a splash with the annual Ferrython, one of
Australia’s most popular and iconic free events. The Sydney Harbour
Bridge is the finishing line. 12 - 3 pm - Games and Roving Street Performers Enjoy an array of events on George Street, The Rocks and The Market will be at Jack Mundey place 9 am - 3 pm
12:45 - 2 pm - Harbour Parade Head down to the Harbour and watch the array of boats decorated in a show of colour and flags 1:00 - 1:30 pm - Tall Ship Race These are the spots where you can watch the great tall ships as they race along the Harbour Bradfield Park, Blues Point, Hickson Road Reserve, Overseas Passenger Terminal, Sydney Opera House Between 2:00pm to 4:00pm Head to the Overseas Passenger Terminal and jump on board the Tall Ships for a gold coin donation. 10:30 am - 5 pm - Vintage Buses Hop on and off a Vintage Bus from Sydney Opera House to Wynyard and
back, or hop on at any of the stops at Macquarie Street, Market Street,
Clarence Street and Elizabeth Street. Make sure you give a gold coin
