8:30 am - 10:00 am – GIO OZ Day 10K Wheelchair Race
See our greatest wheelchair road and track athletes fly by at exhilarating speeds as they compete in the 34rd consecutive year of the race. Watch along George Street in The Rocks and Hickson Road. The start and finish line is outside the Museum of Contemporary Art.

7:30pm - 9:30pm - Australia Day Live Location: Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay. This is a free event, though to watch it at the Opera House you need a ticket and the allocation is exhausted. But spectators will be able to hear and see the concert via speakers and large screens and watch the maritime show, projections on the sails of the Sydney Opera House and fireworks.
