9:00 am - 10:00 am – GIO OZ Day 10K Wheelchair Race
See our greatest wheelchair road and track athletes fly by at exhilarating speeds as they compete in the 33rd consecutive year of the race. Watch along George Street in The Rocks and Hickson Road. The start and finish line is outside the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Darling Harbour is going full Aussie and firing up the barbie this Australia Day! Pop down to
Tumbalong Park, enjoy cooling misting tents and ice-cold drinks along with outdoor games, and
live entertainment on the stage.
Make sure you skip breakfast because the celebrations will include Darling Harbour's biggest ever
BBQ. The BBQ will feature street food stalls serving delicious, multicultural cuisine to celebrate the nation’s diversity. And the best part? This is a completely free event, no tickets required!

GIO OZ Day 10K Wheelchair Race
The Best Wheelchair Race in the World
Join us this Australia Day to see some of the world's best wheelchair track and road athletes battle it out in the GIO Oz Day 10k.
The warm-up starts at 8am and the race starts at 9am on George Street, outside Museum of Contemporary Art. The best vantage points for spectators can be found on George St and Hickson Rd.
More than 30 athletes will be lining up at the start line, from Paralympians to juniors taking part in their first GIO Oz Day 10k.
