WHAT'S ON DURING THE SPRING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND LABOUR DAY?

It is holiday time again!
Term 3 ends on Friday 27 September and Term 4 starts on Monday 14 October, before that is Labour Day; a holiday for nearly everyone on Monday 7 October. Here is just a highlight of a few events but of course there are many more.

Ice Skating At Macquarie Ice Rink
For over thirty years, Sydney’s iconic Macquarie Ice Rink has been both a playground and training facility to all levels of skating from recreational, national, international and Olympic champions.
During the holidays the Rink will run skate classes Monday to Friday.  The class runs from 9:15am to 10:00am.

Play World Australia
Play World Australia is THE 2-day event for kids during the October School Holidays 2019 at the ICC Sydney.

Take part in drumming workshops, learn the tricks to being a Kid Entrepreneur, play with the latest from Nintendo, become the next Picasso and explore your world, your way.

Fun For All Ages At Sydney Olympic Park
Keep kids of all ages busy and entertained with over 50 free and great value activities.
For Active kids, we host a number of sporting clinics, from diving to netball, basketball to water polo, soccer, gymnastics, tennis, cricket, archery and laser tag programs

Raise your stein to the world’s best beer festival! We are celebrating our love of everything Bavarian with an Oktoberfest Pop-Up Biergarten featuring beer and German food specials.

If you can’t make it all the way to Munich this Oktoberfest why not revel in spring in Sydney with some German flavour at Sirocco Terrace, Potts Point. O’zapft is!

AFTRS School Holidays Courses
AFTRS’ holiday courses for teens (Grades 7–12) are the perfect way to learn new skills and have fun. From Digi Animation to Writing a Short Film, there is something available for every young creative.

Adventure Zone School Holidays
It’s time to GET WILD and GET ACTIVE at The Australian Reptile Park!

These school holidays, The Australian Reptile Park will be turning into an action-packed ADVENTURE ZONE!

In a celebration of getting outdoors and having fun, visitors will experience non-stop exhilaration and adrenaline in the ‘ADVENTURE ZONE’ with hands on, fun activities including:

RUN like a Dingo through an inflatable obstacle course.
FLY like a Lorikeet on the bungee trampolines.
JUMP like a Kangaroo on the jumping castle.

Plus, Spring has sprung and it’s baby animals galore! Visitors will be able to see baby Tasmanian devils, koalas, kangaroos, alligators, birds and possums. You can even get your photo taken with a Tassie devil joey!
