& Band

Friday 4 October, 8.30pm at Foundry616
Australia’s best young female songwriter at Sydney’s finest jazz club.

Foundry616 is delighted to welcome back one of Australia’s classiest performers and most talented young piano players and singer-songwriters.

“Frances has a wonderful feeling for jazz and blues standards but what makes her a real stand-out are her original songs and her unique style.” James Morrison AM

If you haven’t been lucky enough to catch her yet, Frances’ music is jazz-oriented but original and with a broad popular appeal. Her shows are a mix of her own enchanting swing, ballads and blues as well as her unique take on some timeless classics.

Frances has performed to capacity audiences at Australia’s most popular festivals and jazz venues as well as the JZ Club in Shanghai. She has also supported Dionne Warwick, Gregory Porter and other international artists touring here in Australia. Her first studio album went to #5 on the ARIA charts and her second will be released on a major label early next year.

Frances’ eight-piece all-star band for this show includes some of Australia’s leading musicians. More information here.
