Ngapa William Cooper

Join the Australian Youth Orchestra as they perform three sweeping works inspired by Australian stories and the tenacity of the human spirit in times of darkness.

Ngapa William Cooper was born out of a rich collaboration between Nigel Westlake, Lior, and Dr Lou Bennett AM. This work explores the strength and compassion of Yorta Yorta activist Uncle William Cooper. The performance also feature Westlake’s The Glass Soldier Suite and Beneath the Waves, from the score for 2022 film Blueback.
