Can you believe it's that time already?... Where the water's warming up (just about) and the swim and tri events get that scary bit closer?

This is just a quick note with everything you need to know about this year's open water swim sessions at South Cerney Outdoor - which kicked off with the first session yesterday. Full details are on our website
We had at least 3 new first timers to Open Water Swimming in for their first session and taking up the coaching offer from South West Swim... You can check out their training dates and offers but get in quick as their courses are getting booked up fast.
So we are operating from now every Monday and Wednesday evening at 6pm and Saturday mornings. Due to the water temp (currently 11C) we are open 8:30am - 9:30am on Saturdays during April... but increasing the session time due to popular request to run 8:00am - 9:30am from the first Saturday in May.
This season we have a couple of new payment options for the regulars...
We've kept the popular 'Pay-as-u-go' price of just £5 for the occasional swimmer, but if you want to come more than a handful of times or twice a week... we have 10 session cards and season tickets available.

Give us a call to sort over the phone or on your first visit and save yourself time and money each time you come.
If you're a first timer, or bringing new friends along, make sure you download and bring in a completed 'Pre-Activity Questionnaire and Declaration' available on our website.
The showers are fully operational and warm, although we are getting the floor repaired, so forgive us for the less that perfect look and feel of the changing rooms. We're hoping to get this finished in the next few weeks.
A note for your diary - We are planning a swim event for late September - Keep an eye out for more details coming soon.

Lastly, before I leave you to enjoy the rest of the weekend, make sure you give some love to the guys providing safety cover for you this year. They put in a ton of hours out on the lake, standing in all conditions just to make sure you guys feel safe and comfortable. It's not something you find at every venue, but we think it's important
