She was blown away that I'd met such a famous person.
I thought it was cool to see the reaction on her face.
You know what impressed me way more than his fame though Friend?
His character.
He was one of the most gracious, kind, humble and friendly people I've ever met.
He talked with me in the back of the room for about 30 minutes and then for another hour or so after our event.
Never once did I get the sense that he felt he was better than me or anyone in the room.
In fact, he praised and complimented everyone there and let us know he was thankful to be in our presence.
How cool (and rare) is that!?
