Hope you had a awesome weekend.
My son and I went and saw the movie Red 1 and it was awesome! I recommend it. (if you like Christmas and action that is, 2 things you might not think go together but they did surprisingly well).
Anyway, I wanted to write you a little note about the biggest obstacle I faced on my way to freedom.
Of course there were lots of little ones too, like learning to overcome my fears and self doubts, learning to take action consistantly over time, etc...
But by far the biggest one was realizing that even though I could do all the necessary work on my end, if others didn't fulfill their side of the bargain, my residual income would vanish!
Some examples:
One of the owners of the first company I joined, was put in prison for embezzling funds. Company gone, and all income associated with it gone too.
2nd company took away a promised portion of the comp plan and in the space of a 30 minute conference call, slashed my residual income by 2/3rds.
3rd company one day decided to move a big portion of my customers outside of my business, due to no fault of my own. Residual gone again!
4th company decided to launch a 'sister company' and recruit my team into it and within about 3 months I saw my first six figure income start to sink like the Titanic, and I continued to watch in horror as every last penny of my hard earned residual, fell to the bottom of the ocean. Again, due to no fault of mine.
5th company decided to implement sales quotas, which meant that in order for me to continue to earn the "Residual" i'd built up, I would need to sponor 4 new customers each and every month. Once again, residual gone, unless I decided to continue to work like an employee. And once again, due to no fault of mine.
Finally, in 2016 after 11 years of working hard to build a "residual income" from home, I realized (aside from having made some great temporary money) I was yet again, starting at ground zero.
This is when I finally confronted the dragon that I'd been ignorantly ignoring all those years which is to admit a hard truth to myself.
If the company goes away or decides to do something unethical to take my income THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RESIDUAL INCOME.
So if you are serious about growing an actual residual income Friend in the home business profession, please hear me when I say that the MOST important decision you can make is to pick a company that you are certain, will honor their commitment and word to you long term.
If you don't do that, nothing else matters.
Now, that being said, when you begin to make this your #1 priority for finding a place you can call home, my guess is, you'll find what I found.
-Companies that have been around a long time but have other problems.
Such as HUGE restrictions on what you can and can't do in your marketing.
Super low commission payout so that you'll have to build a team of thousands of people to earn any real money.
Hidden little policies buried deep in the company documentation that basically say "Hey, we're the big bad company here, and we can steal your income any time we decide we want to."
This is what I found when I realized I needed something I could count on.
And that's why I did the only next logical thing (or maybe crazy thing) i could think to do, and that was partner up with one of my best friends and most trusted business partners to create the thing that we wanted to be in and the thing we KNEW we could trust to do the right thing for ourselves and others.

All of this to say Friend, that joining me here in this life-changingly profitible business, has the potential of saving you years and years of beating your head against the home business residual income wall.
It's the soul reason it was created and I feel I'd be cheating you if I didn't write this email for you today.
But even if you don't decide to join here are a few takeaways you can apply to help you reach your freedom goal faster.
Find a company that will be there LONG term for you and honor their commitments. This is fundamental and because so many companies come and go, it's a stumbling block that the masses continue to trip over.
Find a company that pays you so well that your residual income goal is possible from your personal efforts alone. This is the only way you can put the control of your income in your hands because at the end of the day, YOU are the only one you can control.
Never give up even if you experience many failures because if worse comes to worse, you can ALWAYS decide to be the change and create your own solution like we did.
Find something that makes the world a better place outside of the income. Believe me when I say, that as fun and important as money is (ranks right up there with oxygen according to Zig Ziglar, right?) it cannot and does not satisfy the soul long term. After you have the money you want and need, your soul will want something to pull it forward, and if what you're in doesn't have some element of giving back to the world, it will be extremely hard if not impossible to continue to motivate yourself to stay on the journey so you can continue to provide value to the world.
