We spent the cash and got the car and for the first few weeks were in awe of how nice this vehicle felt to drive around.
It has leather, sunroof, very low miles and every new little gadget you could imagine.
Our whole family was super thankful and in love with this vehicle.
Well, some time passed and we all began to cast our vision on other things, and this shiny awesome car, became just another vehicle to get us from point a to point b.
As I was driving this vehicle this morning, and listening to the call, I suddenly started to feel a profound sence of gratitude for this car.
My mind and heart were cast back into the feeling of thankfulness I had when I discovered that my wife was safe after this horrible accident.
I remembered the time when we had to borrow money to buy a mobile home to live in and realized that, today, I was driving in a vehicle that cost more than that home, and it was 100% paid for.
Here's that quote again along with the point of the story...
"For whosoever hath gratitude, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not gratitude, from him shall be taken away even that he hath."
I realized that as I was sitting in gratitude for that which I had, I was recieving MORE of the good feelings and happiness that I orginally had when we got the car.
So maybe Friend, it's true that gratitude can 'get us more stuff' but maybe it's also true that gratitude can give us more spiritual richness for that which we alread have, when we remember all the good it's bringing to our lives.
In other words, more abundance maybe, can mean more recognition of the abundance that's already surrounding us.
Us humans are funny creatures. We usually want what we want until we get it, and then we forget why we wanted it and begin chasing the next thing.
True gratitude can help us maintain the positive emotions that come from the things we wanted, and now already have, so we cantinue to treasure up all the good that exists in our lives right now.
This is one of the reasons that I've said before, and I'll say again ...
"Gratitude is a path to instant riches."

This call always seems to help me get into a great state in the morning so I can give my all during the day.
Maybe it can do the same for you too.
Thanks for reading and hope you have an amazing day.
