Morning Friend.
It's 4:28 Idaho time and yes, I do feel a bit psycho for being up this early in the morning on a Saturday.
I know I'm not the only one though.
I was chatting with one my closest friends and team members this week and after we talked about some upcoming plans we're working on, he told me he's been a bit quiet because he'd been struggling with a dilemma. Not in a bad way though...
Here's what he said...
"The dilemma is that all of that above matters to me in a way, and at a scale, that it never has before.
It's not just wanting to build something, it's a heart-called mission to grow something that I truly believe changes the way people build business.
It's not about business as much as how HBA is changing the way people see the end game as one of contribution instead of just personal growth.
I can't state it clearly, but just know that it matters to me so much that I feel a MUST to do things bigger, better, different."
The day before this conversation I'd been to a website that had a video containing the words "Queer divine dis-satisfaction, a blessed unrest"... I passed them along to my friend and he said...
"Blessed unrest really hit me as well. We're fortunate to have this unsettling, I believe. Means we're headed in the right direction."
What's your divine dis-satisfaction Friend? What's your blessed unrest?
This thing that makes everything you've done in the past, good, but not complete.
This thing that pulls you out of bed at 4:30 in the morning on Saturday or has you up in the middle of the night with flashes of inspiration...
What is your heart calling you to do Friend?
Can you hear it? Can you feel it? Are you willing and ready to step into it with everything you've got inside?
I don't know what your unique mission and purpose in this life is, but I DO know it's possible to find it and tune into it on a level that changes everything about how you feel for and show up inside of life.
It's the x factor, the pixie dust, the little bit of magic that makes your eyes, words and business sparkle.
My unrest is having the map to freedom and not being able to get get it out, fast enough to the people who who are willing to follow it.
My unrest is knowing there's a way to embrace life that makes you happy and excited and fulfilled every day, instead of all those other words that shall not be mentioned - that result from what the media seems to be trying to do to us all... (knowing there's this way, and yet not being able to get it out fast or far enough)
My unrest is seeing a Facebook live one of our leaders Keysha did yesterday where she talked about how she got so inspired that our community donates meals to help feed hungry kids, with every dollar in revenue we bring in...
... She got so inspired that she decided to do the same, in one of her other businesses - give to a charity that speaks to her heart.
Remember what my friend and team member said above...?
" HBA is changing the way people see the end game as one of contribution instead of just personal growth."
My unrest is knowing that we've built a community, products and a culture that absolutely does this, and knowing it's a GREAT thing, that people and world need, and I know this deep in my core - and yet, what we've created somehow still remains a secret to the vast majority of the people in the world who need it.
But again Friend, this unrest is a gift. The dis-satisfaction, a divine desire pulling me forward and I'm thankful for it.
I don't believe we were put on this earth to float aimlessly in the memories of past successes.
Life is meant to be lived and for me, living is giving and serving and lifting and loving. It's taking action and making it happen. Not yesterday, or tomorrow but TODAY!
It's speaking light into the people who need the light,
... and igniting the fires in the one's who've light to give, to spread it farther and faster...
What is your light shining for you Friend?
Where is the flashlight of your soul pointing?
It may not be an easy question, but it seems to me to be the question in life that's most worth answering.
I believe in you Friend. You've got greatness within.
We are meant to make this world better and be the change we wish to see within it.
It's up to us.
Paul
