Believe it or not, there are many affiliate programs out there today that pay just one time commissions.
To me, this is shocking (but true).
Back when I was working in a call center, one of the things I didn't love was the fact that If I didn't show up to work, I didn't get paid.
One time commissions are this way.
If you don't show up and make a sale, you don't get paid.
It doesn't matter how many sales you made yesterday, or last week or last month or all your life up to today.
If you're earning one time commissions with no residual, you are basically unemployed with no income, starting from ground zero, when you wake up in the morning.
This is why it only took me one experience with one time commissions on my home business journey to realize that it wasn't what I was looking for.
I didn't want another job.
I wanted a path to freedom.
For that, I needed something that paid me residual income.
That way, after I had made a certain number of sales and gathered a certain number of customers, I could wake up in the morning and NOT have to go to work, if I didn't want to.
Residual income is the best way to make this possible for most people IMO.
This is why we made residual income such a HUGE focus in our business model, and chose to pay out 80% for every customer referral.
Anyway, just wanted to send this out today as food for thought.
And hey, if you're in a one time commission program - no judgement here.
Different strokes for different folks right?
I'm just saying that unless you stack those one time commissions so high...
