Hot Diggitty Friend, It's Saturday!
And yes, it's 6:00 AM and I'm up thinking about you.
A bit weird, maybe - but old habits die hard I guess. When I was working my way to freedom, and connecting with prospects via phone, Saturday morning was golden time to wake up, smile & dial. :-)
I don't think there will every be a day from now till my death, where I don't wake up thinking about freedom and how to help more people achieve it.
It's my magnificent obsession and I'm thankful for it.
Anyway back to the point of this email.
Yesterday on one of our coaching masterminds, a friend & team member of mine said he wanted to get to the place in his business where people were seeking him out and either joining directly or reaching out to him, ready to get started.
This is the ultimate dream for every home business owner and when it happens, I have to admit, it DOES feel like a dream.
I've had times in my business where 5 to 10 people per day were joining, emailing me or calling me and telling me they were ready to join.
Just last week a great guy named Felix found my presentation online, watched it, joined and bought all of our products. The only thing I did during that whole process was respond to a couple text messages.
(Felix is is super positive, uplifting, coach able, and self directed by the way - in other words, the exact type of person I like to work with)
How Can You Attract Customers & Team Members To You And Your Business As If You're A Money Magnet Friend?
Here's my best advice.
Become an attractive person.
No I don't mean physically attractive.
I mean attractive in character. There are some simple things anyone can do, to become someone that others are attracted to.
Just last week I was consulting with the CEO of a company who had reached out to me because there were some 'unattractive' people within his organization causing problems.
One of the things I recommended was to make the book 'How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie' required reading within his organization.
Today in my morning studies, I was reading a marketing book written by a man who gets paid $18,000 per day to teach businesses how to attract more customers through marketing.
I was not surprised when I ran across the following line.
'How To Win Friends And Influence People' is, by far, the most enduring and successful course on communication, influence, attraction, and persuasion, period.'
So that book is definitely a GREAT place to start Friend.
I'm thankful to be in a situation where people tell me all the time how amazing they think I am on the phone with prospects or in one on one conversations with people.
I always respond by telling them 'All I'm doing is what I learned in the book I mentioned above.'
If there's any credit or glory for me to take in all of this, I guess it's in the fact that I am DOING what I learned in the book as most people either won't even read the book or, if they do read it, they fail to APPLY what the book teaches.
2. Learn Marketing
As powerful as the above tip is, the author of the book was right again when he wrote 'when you move into direct marketing, you can inject this with steroids and make it unbelievably powerful.'
Indeed.
When you combine your attractive character with the ability to broadcast what you're selling (in the most attractive way) to the exact people who are already hungry, looking and ready to buy...
Bingo
You've reached the promised land of money magnet marketing attraction.
Bob Proctor once said 'I have license to brag, because none of this stuff is mine.'
And that's exactly how I feel whenever I'm teaching people how I've achieved the results I've achieved.
Truly, I'm no genius.
