Hey Friend,

I was recently watching a fascinating YouTube video on an interview that Elon Musk (the world's richest person) gave.

One thing that I find interesting about Elon is that he seem to have given a lot of thought to threats to humanity.

For example, I've heard him talk about population implosion as being something he worries about. (he's currently building robots to help solve this potential threat)

I've heard him talk about running out of oil which would be a disaster for humanity. (he's currently building electric cars to help solve this)

But one thing I never heard him say, until this morning, is a threat that could be bigger than all of these, and it directly relates to your business.

With all the talk about human life extension, many people are wondering things like..

Can we live forever?

Can we double or triple our healthy lifespan?

Here's the shocking thing I heard Elon say...

"I don't think we should work too hard on extending the human life?"

What!?

He's doing all these things to help humanity not die, why would he say extending human life, is not a good goal?

He reasoned that people rarely ever change their minds and that death is a way that humanity allows old ideas that are not serving us anymore to die with them, so that progress can be made.

This blew me away, because there seems to be a lot of truth to this.

Let this sink in Friend.

He's saying that because people have such a hard time letting go of false beliefs, and ways of living.. that it's such a danger to humanity, we should let old age take us out.

This weekend my wife and I went and saw a famous You Tube comedian and in the Q & A at the end, he was asked 'What's the best video you've made?"

He referenced a recent video he made that showed how a few years ago he had one belief, that then evolved into the opposite belief, and that this was his favorite video because it showed that he could change his mind.

This is rare.

The reason we can go from failure in business to success, is because we can change.

We can learn new things, we can do new things...

This doesn't mean we always do.

But if we want better results in life and business.. being able to change seems to be an absolute must.

This is one of the reasons I absolutely LOVE working from home and being in the business that I'm in (and maybe you are too)... we are usually surrounded by people who are constantly opening their minds to new ideas and ways of doing business.

What a beautiful thing this is.

Just wanted to send this email as a reminder, that if we're willing to change our minds... and be open to new ideas, beliefs and ways of doing things...

Perhaps we can eliminate this threat to humanity and to our businesses dying out.
