Hey Friend,
One of the things I used to not love in some of the previous companies I was in, was that they would use the term 'leader' only for those who were making a lot of money with said business.
Let me tell you something... Money can be an effect of certain attributes of leadership but having money is in no way shape or form a reliable indicator as to the quality of a person's whole character or soul.
One time I was at an event where certain people were being praised as 'leaders' because of all the money they'd made...
My wife leaned over to me at the time and whispered into my ear... 'There's more than money that makes up a leader.'
She was speaking pure truth.
My personal belief, is that we are ALL leaders.
At the very least, we are leading ourselves and our own lives with every moment and every decision of every single day.
John Maxwell has famously said "Leadership is influence, nothing more, nothing less"
Although I disagree with him on this point in my live today, he's not totally wrong.
Influence IS 1 important aspect of leadership and the truth is we are ALL having some kind of influence whether we realize it or not.
From that perspective, truly, we are all leaders.
The question then becomes, what kind of a leader do we want to be?
And that leads me to today's video message, The Biblical Leadership Formula.
Like Jim Rohn, I'm an ameteur when it comes to the Bible but, I've had enough life and business experience to recognize wisdom when I see it. (at least some times) ;-)
What I read the other day, relating to leadership, in this 4,000 year old book, was so wise and on point, it literally set me back in my chair.
And that's why, I'm excited to share it all with you today.
Hope it's a gift to your journey Friend.
Thanks for opening and reading this email.
I appreciate and believe in you.
Most sincerely,
Paul Hutchings
