Hey Friend!
So yesterday I had a very unique experience.
I was invited to present at a 7th/8th grade career fair.
What what!?
A guy with a background in network marketing and affiliate marketing invited into normal society to share his secrets of success with the children?
Of course, I took the challenge and did my best to deliver some value to the kids.
My hope was to teach them some things and inspire them in a way that might make an impact on their future.
All leading up to this day my son Kashton who attends the school was asking me (sort of joking but sort of serious too) to not do it.
Night before last I asked him... "Gee son, I do my best to be a dad you can be proud of. Why would you be embarrassed by your friends at school seeing me or hearing what I have to say?"
He then said... "Dad, you're odd."
I said "WHAT! Odd!?"
He then said, "Yeah, you're not like the other parents."
I said to myself "Well thank you son, It's never been a goal of mine to be 'normal'."
He then went on to say... "Dad, you're odd in a good way."
And that made my heart melt a bit.
Anyway, here's a pic of my booth at the career fair |
