Hey Friend,
Yesterday my son Camden, wanting to drive, asked me..
"Hey dad, on the way home do you want me to drive us on road A, or Road B?"
I said... "Hey there son, you can't use the exclusive/or language pattern on me... I taught you that!"
In sales there are language patterns you can use that help to lead people to the result they desire... and other one's that can lead them to the result you desire...
Once upon a time I had a mentor who said... "I allow people to do whatever I want, in whatever way they want."
He was a master at language patterns...
It was while I was working with this mentor that I developed one of my favorite beliefs, and sayings...
"Just because you can, doesn't mean you should."
It's possible, to use your language, to help people get the results they desire, and the results you desire, all while respecting their freedom 100%...
It just requires a slight shift in thinking...
