We
are thrilled to announce that we have been favorably reviewed and selected as one of the sponsors of
the Document Assembly issue of LegalTech Buyers Guide (Above the Law: Document Management, Assembly and PDF Tools). Our co-sponsor of this edition is Hot Docs, somewhat
appropriate since we and HotDocs have been going head-to-head since 2000. We
(HotDocs and Pathagoras) are currently the oldest document assembly programs on the market.
Please
read our review. Please share our review. Please comment on our review. And if
you are receiving this as a non-owner of Pathagoras consider restarting a relationship. (You can get the full Buyer's Guide from this link. It is an LegalTech product and a quick, free, sign-up is required to obtain it.)
Most
newcomers to the document automation arena are more like clones of Hot Docs, requiring fields and
a pre-established database. Pathagoras still stands alone in its pledge to
making markups purely and always plain text: easy to create, easy to read, easy to teach). Our database is still simple, non-structured and instant. And it easily links to Excel and Adobe files.
This incredible ease of use was that way from Pathagoras' inception. And we are still happy to say that, with a singular
exception, everything has been grandfathered. Documents created with Pathagoras
in 2000, are still fully functional in 2021. DropDown Lists, first introduced in 2008, still offer 2-click speed and ease for finding and inserting text, just as it has always done. All of this reflects our commitment
to not make Pathagoras ‘version
obsolete’. It also shows the flexibility that plain text development offers.
Plain text promotes not just
uniformity and interoperability across documents, but uniformity and interoperability
across the decades!
We are tickled pink about our inclusion in this prominent publication. Thanks to our customers for their loyalty and support. We could not have made it this far without you.
