Dear Pathagoras Owner,
I wrote last week about the major Microsoft 'flub' occasioned by its most recent upgrade to Office. I write again because (1) quite a few program owners were not on the original distribution list and may not know that a solution exists (my apologies to those who missed the first message); and (2) I have found, and fixed, more areas in the screenage that exhibited the problems caused by the Office release.
The changes that Microsoft made have had a severe impact on Pathagoras and other VBA based programs. It disabled many display features, making document assembly calls impossible for some. (Only Office 2016 users seem to have been affected. Trust me -- you will know it if you are affected. The problems, if any, will be obvious.)
Microsoft has admitted the error and they are fixing it. Unfortunately, a release date still has not been announced. They are now in week three, and no tentative release date has been set. (But don't worry too much. I have internally programmed a fix for Pathagoras customers. Keep reading.)
See this post on the Microsoft Support site if you want to read more about the error:

If you are up to date in your Annual Support Agreement (ASA), you can download the program and proceed with the latest version by following this link. You will need your Serial Number to check the status of your ASA. (If you don’t have your Serial Number, let me know and I can generate it for you.)
If you are not current in your ASA, and are having the problem described, you have several options:
1. Renew your ASA using the above link.
2. Revert to an earlier install of Office. The link to Microsoft Forums shown above offers instructions on how to do that.
3. Wait until Microsoft fixes are released. (I cannot tell you when that will be).
This is one of those ‘unbelievable’ moments in Microsoft history: It is simply beyond belief that Microsoft did not test its program to see what it was about to do to thousands of programmers and their customers.
Let me know if you have any questions for me.
