Pathagoras 2018.1 (finally) released

It has been about 7 months since we introduced Pathagoras 2018 and we have been busy ever since. As our user base expands, so do the suggestions about how Pathagoras can best operate in a wide variety of environments. (Unlike other program, we don't shoe-horn you in to a specific or narrow way of doing things. This is also why you will never learn all the features. You don't need to. We try adapt to the way you want to work, and offer alternative approaches to 'best solutions'.)
We have implemented many of those suggestions. Thank you for them, by the way. Many were just refinements on existing tools. For example, we changed the language we used for scanning the specific level of a PDF form from 'Bracketed' and 'Raw' (which didn't mean anything to anyone) to 'Surface' and 'Deep' (which refer to the 'visible' vs. 'invisible' levels of Adobe fillable fields). This turned out to be much more descriptive and useful to those using this increasingly popular tool.
Customer demand also led us to enhance our Excel connectivity. We cleaned up some language and smoothed over some confusing steps. Perhaps our biggest new feature was our addition of Excel as a full provider of text for your document assembly projects. This idea was suggested by a demo user (yes, we listen to those who haven't even purchased the program yet). Once implemented, it was well received by my 'beta tester' community. This new feature is just like what has been in place since Pathagoras' inception, but instead of the clauses being stored as individual documents in a folder (or for my 'glossary' fans, individual terms within the glossary), the terms are text stored in individual cells in an Excel spreadsheet. We really didn't think this was even possible, but we just kept plugging along until we found the magic sauce. Now, you can just click in the appropriate clause(s) from a large collection of clauses you may store in a spreadsheet. It is a quite remarkable tool. It adds great flexibility to an already flexible program.
One more small favor. Our growth is in small part fed by our advertising, but for the most part, it is generated by word of mouth referrals. If you would be so kind as to share this newsletter with others in your social or professional circles (there are links at the top and bottom of this letter), that would be greatly appreciated. Also, Google has a reviews page, and I am trying to increase my visibility in other product review sites such as Capterra.
