Hi Friend, a quick note before you enjoy the Memorial Day holiday.
First, my thanks and welcome to the people who have started to learn more with me about bringing the benefits of drones into their business. I believe we have passed an inflection point on Monday when the new FAA Part 107 laws went into effect. That's the consensus from many drone experts and analysts I follow too.
That historic milestone also led more people to make a decision to benefit from the new laws with me, so I want to send this quick email out before the long weekend.
(If you need a little recap, the Part 107 laws make it easier for drones to be used for commercial purposes. However there are still some important and rather conservative limitations. Summarizing this law will be one module in my planned course. If you don't want to wait for that, let me know with a reply here.)
The Memorial Day holiday in the States is our symbolic end to the summer. I hope you enjoy it wherever you are. (If you haven't shared with me where that might be, I'd be grateful to learn. Knowing that will help me steer you toward local drone operators or organizations that can help you claim the lead with this innovative technology for your company and career.)
I plan to take a day trip with my wife and kids to somewhere in northern California. Not sure yet if we will go east, west, north, or south. Lots of scenic options in every direction here.
