RANDY COHEN IS COMING TO TOWN!
WED. OCT. 19, 10am STEPPING STONES MUSEUM AEP6 & THE COMMUNITY-BUILDING POWER OF THE ARTS |
| | It’s Time to Determine The Economic Impact of Spending by Nonprofit Arts and Culture Organizations and Their Audiences
For the third time, The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County is organizing participation by arts and cultural organizations in our region in the Sixth Arts & Economic Prosperity Study (AEP6) – and we need your help and input!
As you know, Fairfield County is an arts and culture mecca. Our artists and arts organizations make Fairfield County an awesome place to live, work and visit. And we are now ready for the next phase of calculating and communicating the overall economic and social value of this activity.
Our members and other will be collecting AEP data from audience surveys at performances, events, exhibits, venues, and facilities from now through April 2023. The study is conducted every five years to gauge the economic impact (on employment, government revenue, and household income) of spending by nonprofit arts and culture organizations and their audiences.
JOIN US ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19.Randy Cohen, VP for Research at Americans for the Arts, will help us launch the study by spending the day with us on Wednesday, October 19. Events include:
10am Stepping Stones Museum for Children, Norwalk.
Randy will address cultural nonprofit members and explain how members can participate in the study. Don’t miss out. Hear from the source why this is important and how you can participate. REGISTER HERE.
