| Fairfield University's Quick Center is proud to announce that, following its sold-out performances of War Stories: A Veterans Project, in Fairfield it will now be performing this collaborative project at Brooklyn Academy of Music next Thurs. June 22, 8pm. The show, bold monologues based on veterans’ real-life experiences battling addiction, homelessness, loves and losses, backed by the NEA, CT Office of the Arts and Fairfield University, is a collaboration between producer Steve Ruchefsky, writer Sonya Huber, artist Nina Bentley and theatre-maker and Director of the Quick Center, Peter Van Heerden, with veteran performers from ARBI/Homes for the Brave in Bridgeport. | | Fairfield University's Quick Center is pleased to announce that Melissa Matuska has joined the staff as the new Sales and Events Manager. Melissa brings a wealth of experience in events management through her recent position at Jay Z’s 40/40 Club in New York City, and a strong background in volunteer management from her work in alumni relations at Long Island University and the University of Arkansas.
