The summer season is off and running at Gayler Design Build. From master bathroom renovations to whole house remodels, we're creating beautiful, functional designs that aim to meet or exceed our clients' expectations.
Even though summer has just begun, it’s not too early to prepare for the winter holidays. Believe it or not, now is the perfect time to plan that lighter, brighter, just-a-bit-wider space fit for entertaining. The holidays are stressful enough without having to worry about inadequate space to accommodate guests. If you or someone you know could use a remodel just in time for the holidays, contact us by the first week in August (since design, selections, permits, and construction all need to be factored into the timeframe). Our design team will help you get started—ensuring your home never keeps you from hosting a Thanksgiving meal or any other festive gathering again.
Speaking of holidays, we wish you a very happy Independence Day with deep gratitude to all of our veterans. As the colors light up the sky on the 4th, we will be thinking of the many men and women who have fought bravely to preserve our freedom. |

| | | A Well-Executed Renovation Turns a Downsized Home into an Upscale Oasis
When our client was ready to downsize, she found a near perfect house to
move into in Rossmoor, a gated community in Walnut Creek. A
well-executed renovation helped to make it home - one that reminded her
of her previous home in Berkeley, but smaller and easier to manage.
Luckily, the original layout of the house worked for the client, so for
the most part, she only needed to update the look and feel of the rooms.
The house was remodeled with new White Oak hardwood flooring, new
windows with white wood shutters, and new doors and hardware throughout. Enjoy more photos and details of this gorgeous whole house remodel.

| Chris Gayler Receives San Ramon Rotary Hall of Fame Award for Consistently, Through the Years, Putting Service Above Self
As the Community Service Director, Chris Gayler, has been a San Ramon Rotary member since 2010, and received the distinguished Rotarian of the Year Award in 2016. His role is organizing activities in which Rotarians can make substantial and lasting improvements in the quality of life of their community—to include raising money for local schools, providing meals for seniors and the homeless, and providing opportunities for children to learn and have fun.
Honoring his substantial contribution to the community to date, consistently putting service above self, Chris was recently honored with the San Ramon Rotary Hall of Fame Award in May 2017. Congratulations, Chris! This incredible honor is well deserved! |
