"How we make changes in the brain". Instant access to the streaming video:
I struggled with self-help techniques for a long time and I have seen others do the same. While some people report "amazing change" very quickly, many people don't feel like anything is changing at all. I can't accept this disparity without investigating further. Why? What is going on?
I want to highlight the range of tools and help available and give some guidance for how to apply it all in the most effective way.
The aim of this presentation is to help you understand how to make changes in how you feel, think and behave, by making permanent changes in the brain. I focus on key recent research on ‘Memory Reconsolidation’ and how this explains so much about how and why techniques like FasterEFT work. It also helps us understand how to use these tools more effectively and where we may be going "wrong". Understanding what the brain needs to happen to lead to useful change can give us a lot more clarity about what we're doing and a lot more flexibility in how we do it.
Very best wishes, Alexandra
